Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program

Program Overview

If you are a business or individual that builds and provides trading user interface software to traders, Cantor Exchange would love to make your trading solution available to our trading Participants. Moreover, after the integration and certification are complete, Cantor Exchange will pay you for the connection to our platform! Incentive payments are based on the trading activity of Participants utilizing your software.


It's a simple 3-step process to start receiving incentive benefits under the Cantor Exchange Independent Software Vendor (ISV)1 Program:
  1. You must become a Participant of the Cantor Exchange. For more information about becoming a Participant, please refer to our page on how to Become a Participant.
  2. You must complete the Cantor Exchange Referring Participant form. You can email a scan of the signed form to customerservice@cantorexchange.com.
  3. You must review and sign Cantor Exchange’s standard Vendor Connectivity Agreement (VCA). Contact customerservice@cantorexchange.com to obtain a VCA.
After completing the 3 steps above, you will receive access to our API documents, test platforms, and hands-on development support.

Schedule of Incentive Payments

Payments are made per round turn according to the following schedule:
  • For Referring Participants who are Independent Software Vendors (ISVs):
    • $1,500.00 for the first 1,000,000 round turns executed from orders submitted using the ISV software or fraction thereof and $1,500.00 for each 1,000,000 such round turns thereafter.

Additional Information

Upon meeting all obligations of the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program, participants in the program will be eligible to receive predetermined incentives based on the trading activity of trading Participants using their software. There is no limit on the number of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that may participate in this program.

As a member of this program, you will be considered a Cantor Exchange Referring Participant2. Referring Participants can provide customized solutions to their Referred Participants by leveraging Cantor Exchange's Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program. This program is designed to allow Referring Participants to add their unique insights and value-added strategies to the customer trading experience.

Cantor Futures Exchange monitors all trading activity and Participants' performance and compliance and retains the right to terminate Participant status for not conforming to the terms of the respective program.

Please note: You are responsible for ascertaining whether your activities in the Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Program require registration with the National Futures Association (NFA).

1. An Independent Software Vendor (ISV) is defined in the Cantor Exchange Rulebook as a Participant that has been approved by the Exchange to build and provide trading software to Cantor Exchange Participants. The Independent Software Vendor (ISV) will receive incentives based on the trading activity of Participants utilizing its provided trading software.

2. A Referring Participant is defined in the Cantor Exchange Rulebook as a Participant that has been approved by the Exchange to solicit or refer another Person to become a Participant (i.e. the Referred Participant) or to solicit a Referred Participant's orders, but not to enter such Referred Participant's orders into the Trading System on behalf of that Referred Participant. The Referring Participant will receive incentives based on the trading activity of its Referred Participant(s).
